Summary:

I believe my explorer,Henry Hudson, belongs in the hall of fame. This is because he has discovered many things. For example he obviously found the Hudson River. Hudson also put a lot of effort into finding the Northeast passage which is a water route along the northern coast of Europe and Asia, between the North Sea and the Pacific Sea. I believe most explorers deserve to be in the Hall of Fame because it takes a lot of bravery and courage to be an explorer whether you fail or succeed.

Reflection:

The exploration of the 15th and 16th century is much like the space exploration taken place today. For example explorers motive back then was to find answers to their questions. Today the astronauts are trying to find answers to their questions as well. Another similarity of exploration then and space exploration today is in the economical category. Exploration then was costly just like exploration in space today. In fact the government was thinking of shutting down space exploration programs because it is costing a lot of government money. A third reason or similarity would be how exploration impacts and impacted us back then in the 15th and 16th centries. Exploration back then impacted people because we lost many lifes in search of our answers. Today we loose lives during space exploration. So basically the exploration taken place in the 15th and16th centries has influenced our space exploration that occurs today.
